We continue our series of blogs covering the accommodation offerings here at Inchnadamph Explorers Lodge: this time with our Steading Suites, offering self-catering accommodation.
Self-catering holidays in the Scottish Highlands are a great chance to see our beautiful landscape whilst staying in a fully furnished “home-from-home”.
You can cook and eat whenever you like, or try food from local eateries. Go out all day or stay in and relax: your holiday itinerary is your choice. Explore somewhere new, and truly get away from it all.
With mountains, lochs, waterfalls and history at your doorstep, there is so much to do that one holiday most definitely won’t be enough!
Whether you’re travelling the North Coast 500, wanting to pursue an outdoor activity such as cycling, climbing, ziplining or exploring the geology, or looking to hike up one of many mountains nearby, Inchnadamph Explorers Lodge is perfectly situated to act as the base for your break.
Our Steading apartments offer the traveller their own private seclusion, away from others.
As well as the lodge, we also have three self-contained studios, each named after the local mountains, Canisp, Beinn Uidhe and Quinag. Stepping outside the front door of each apartment and you’re greeted with spectacular views across to Loch Assynt, surrounded by mountains. If you’re looking for self-catering holidays in the highlands, Inchnadamph Explorers Lodge and its varied accommodation should be at the top of your list!
Each Steading apartment has its own entrance and parking outside, giving you privacy and seclusion, whilst knowing that the main lodge is within a 30-second walk. The lodge offers a fully equipped shop, lounge with board games and large kitchen and dining room if you’re wishing to be more sociable.
All Steading suites come with everything you could possibly need on a holiday: fresh linen and towels, fully equipped kitchens, super comfy beds, a TV and complimentary tea caddies for your morning snack.
Beinn Uidhe is the cute studio, with a gorgeous beamed ceiling giving real cosy vibes.
Quinag is our deluxe apartment, with a separate kitchen, dining table and sofa – perfect for relaxing in the evening!
Finally, we have Canisp – which is probably our favourite, with exposed, white-washed stonework. The kitchen is accessed separately to the main apartment, but gives you the addition of a breakfast bar – which is a great spot for having your morning coffee!
Canisp also has a skylight, allowing you to stargaze all night. And given that we’re essentially in the middle of nowhere here, there isn’t any light pollution, so it’s a fantastic sight to behold.
