We are super excited to offer explorers the chance to do Christmas a little differently - by packing up and hitting the Scottish Highlands for a party to remember! Our self-contained Steading Suites, cosy Walled Cottage and Lodge for large group bookings, are available over Christmas and New Year, and your four-legged friends are welcome too!
Here are four compelling reasons why you should spend your winter break at our much loved Lodge.
Inchnadamph is a haven of peace and tranquillity, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The serene atmosphere and the absence of crowds make it an ideal destination for a winter escape. Imagine waking up in your snug suite to views of glittering frost and snow-capped peaks enveloped in mist. Here, you can unwind, rejuvenate, and reconnect with nature.
Wrap up warm, pack a hearty lunch and explore the rugged beauty of the surrounding landscape. The iconic peaks of Suilven, Canisp, and Stac Pollaidh rise majestically, offering a dramatic backdrop to your adventures. Take leisurely walks, go hiking, or simply relax with a glass of red, a box of chocolates and a good book. In Inchnadamph, you have the freedom to set your own pace and make the most of every moment.
Surrounded by magnificent dark skies there’s no better way to round off your day than with a spot of stargazing. Bundle up in warm blankets, fill a hip flask with a tot or two of good whisky, and watch in awe as the Milky Way reveals itself to you. It’s an experience that will elevate your winter break from fun to truly extraordinary.
You never know, you could enjoy a front-row seat to the celestial spectacle of the Aurora Borealis. Stand beneath a canopy of shimmering colours dancing across the night sky, a memory that will stay with you forever. We can’t guarantee you a Northern Lights experience in Inchnadamph, but we have it on good authority that nearby Lochinver Harbour is a popular spot for sightings.
Inchnadamph Explorers Lodge is situated smack bang in the middle of some of Scotland's most stunning natural wonders. Venture out and explore the picturesque beaches of Achmelvich and Clachtoll, where rugged scenery meet pristine sands and the azure waters of the North Atlantic stretch as far as the eye can see. If you’re yet to throw yourself into the tradition of a New Year’s Day wild swim, this could be a great place to start a new annual custom. Pack plenty of layers and a flask of hot coffee!
Winter transforms these coastal landscapes into something truly enchanting. The beaches glisten with frost and the waves crash against the rocky shore with a dramatic intensity. It's a photographer's dream come true, and an opportunity to immerse yourself in the raw beauty of the North West Highlands.
Before we get to Inchnadamph, let’s talk about cost! Unlike other accommodation providers we don’t raise our prices during the holidays. Why? Because we want everyone to enjoy a well earned break without having to break the bank.
When you check in you'll be greeted by a festive Christmas tree with twinkling lights, creating the perfect setting for your winter celebration. We’ll also throw in a bottle of something sparkling to get you in the party mood!
Each suite features an en-suite shower room and WC, the rooms have cosy underfloor heating throughout, and because they are located on the ground floor they are wheelchair accessible.
The spaces are let with main door access to outside and self catering facilities so you can be completely self contained and enjoy your own space. Please note that our Canisp studio only has an outdoor kitchen so it is not suitable for cold winter weather use.
All Steading Suites come equipped with linen, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities.
All you have to do is turn up and relax!

Our charming ‘Walled Cottage’ is so named as it was built within the former walled garden of the main Lodge.

The kitchen has a fridge freezer, electric cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle. A small utility room has a washing machine. There is a dining area for 4 to 6 people just off the kitchen, and a separate good sized lounge with a log stove and comfy seating. We also have a freesat TV and broadband WiFi internet.
